I have seen and heard of 1.6 hdi EGR faults affecting the voltage feed to other sensors causing random or odd data readings. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk.

The crank sensor sits behind the crankshaft pully that sounds like the part you mention. I just had a crank pulley break so maybe yours is on the way out and running out of true causing it to rub on the sensor. the wear on the pulley needs a lever to show it up till it breaks completley.

When the engine is first started in for the day (engine cold) it makes lots of white fumes and this disappears when the engine get hotter. Turbo working fine and no lost of power in the engine.
peugeot 307 hdi 110 - bad misfire below 2000 revs - bodace5 : fixed it! it was a broken wire that goes to the fuel pressure sensor. if you look to the right of the oil filter theres a yellow plug and the wires had broke that come out of the plug. i removed the plug/socket and just joined the 3 wires together. if you have a similar problem just unplug the red plug on the fuel pressure sensor
